Found your website via another recipe link. Was sooooo happy to read you had adopted/saved a furry angel! We have six rescued/adopted mini-dachshunds, we totally advocate on FaceBook and any other media for everyone to “Opt to Adopt” and volunteer for Rescue organizations. Thank you for being the Gift of Love for your Izzy — please continue to spread the word as thousands of innocents die daily after being abandoned/neglected/abused.

I love these! What a great idea. I always make my “babies” doggie cakes on their birthday, but I bet they would love these even more. And we have two adopted Mini-Schnauzers – I can see it in Izzy for sure! Thank you for the all the recipes and Gig ‘em Ags in the Cotton Bowl!

Izzy is so cute!!!!

I still am just so relieved that Izzy is okay after the chocodebacle. Poor thing.

I don’t know that we’ll ever have pets, but adopting I’ve heard is the way to go-here’s wishing you and Joel lots of happy memories with your beloved Izzy-Bear!!!

Very, very cute dog, and wonderful post. Happy Adoptiversary! We adopted two cats when our dogs of 15 and 17 years passed on. My memories of them are worth all the trouble.

Our two recently adopted cats keep us pretty busy. After adopting, we don’t allow them to be outdoor cats, but they escape at any given opportunity, so we are always chasing them through the neighborhood. Our neighbors think we’re crazy!
