These cookies look amazing! I want to make these cookies for Christmas, but I was wondering, instead of patting the dough into a rectangle would it be ok if I just rolled it into a rectangle with my rolling pin? Thanks for the recipe!!

Just made these, and they taste amazing! I had a BUNCH of marzipan that I didn’t know what to do with, so I made it a layer in the rolls…amazing! thanks for the great recipe!
